Letter to Santa FREE Printable

Growing up, I remember writing a letter to Santa here and there, although I never remember posting them. They were somehow magically sent to him! It wasn’t until I received a present from Santa with my Mum’s handwriting that I knew she had been Santa all along! Even then, Christmas was still magical to me. …

Breastfeeding in Public Tips

Breastfeeding in public can seem daunting at first. Whipping out your breast in front of strangers, isn’t the most comfortable thing in the world for many. However, it does get easier. Potty Training in 3 Days – What to Expect

Potty Training in 3 Days Method When my firstborn was 2 years old, I came across some information on Potty Training in 3 Days. To be honest, I thought it was a bit far fetched to potty train in such a short amount of time. However, when it came to motherhood, I had been keen …

  • Because sunny days are for bike rides! My 2 year old is enjoying trying out his balance bike and he's walking rather than riding but he's loving it. If you look closely you can see my 6 year old riding in the distance!
It's been a long while since I've been on here but I'm back and I have new posts on the blog and I'm excited! The lockdown has been a time of reflection and focusing on what matters to me the most. Family ❤

  • Strawberry picking has become an annual tradition for us 🍓 I love making new traditions for our little family. It's something they will always expect and remember with fond memories. The little man has learned to say "cheese" for the camera, can you spot him? 😁

  • This little man had his first day at nursery today! He said goodbye with no fuss and went off exploring his new setting 😍

I cannot wait to pick him up to see how his day has been. He now has a whole new world that we are not a part of; his playtime, his friends, the routines, the songs and games. It makes me sad that I don't get to be a part of this new world but I have to work and I'm so happy he has this fun place to explore where I know he will learn so much. I cannot believe he is 15 months already 💙 •

  • Now he's walking, there's no stopping him! I try to remind myself to see the world from the eyes of a child at times, the courage, the determination, the excitement at learning something new.
My 14 month old is s ready to conquer the world and nothing can stop him! When he falls he gets straight back up and tries again. As children, isn't that how we learnt EVERYTHING?! We tried, we didn't succeed so we tried again. We weren't perfect. We tried 100 times before we could master something. It's how we learnt to walk, use cutlery, talk, read, write. Why are we as adults so hard on ourselves? Why do we look at each other and see failure if it didn't work out on the first try? Why are we so afraid to show our first steps at something new?

Since starting my blog, I discovered that if I let fear get in the way, I'm only holding myself back, slowing down a process or not learning something new at all! So I try my best to just keep going. If I don't succeed straight away, I keep trying. It doesn't mean I'm failing, it means I need to learn more, improve a technique or simply have a better day. When a toddler is learning to walk and they fall, we don't say that they have failed! We smile encouragingly, knowing it's only a matter of time before they are running.
For anyone who needed this today, stop being so hard on yourself. Keep going, keep trying, keep perfecting your skill. You will get there. Just take one step at a time.

  • This is my Monday Motivation! This book has given me a real boost!
I was so excited to receive this book as a gift from my husband and the kids last month for Mother's Day. Check out the bookmark my 5 year old made for me to use with my new book! ❤

I am only on chapter 4 and it's already hit a chord. I cannot wait to finish it so I can reap the full benefits from this reading this book. Thank you Rachel Hollis ❤

  • It's Easter and the kids have have found their eggs! I don't know about you but I try to limit the sugar intake over here but we couldn't have our eldest miss out on an egg hunt as she's been looking forward to it so much.

My 1 year old won't be having any but he took part in the fun and got some other goodies instead. Half of the 2 year old nephew's eggs will miraculously disappear and my 5 year old knows her numbers too well so getting rid of any of hers is out of the question!
I've been asking myself if I should let her have a handful over a few days to get rid of them quickly or spread them out over the next few weeks🤷🏾‍♀️ Decisions decisions!

When this Mama can't deal with the sugar rush this is a big decision to make 😁 She has shared 2 with me so far and 1 with Daddy so maybe it won't be so bad after all! •
